Biography: My name is Palwasha Abbasi, I am a medical doctor and attained M.Phil. In Pharmacology, I am associated with the academics and research work in the pharmaceutical industry for the last 10 years as a Professor of Pharmacology in SRMC institute in Pakistan. As a research scientist, I enjoy developing and optimizing generic drug formulations, I am also experienced in bio-equivalence, PK/PD studies to ensure good quality medicines are produced. I have published more than twenty research articles that demonstrate expertise in several key research areas, including the pharmacological evaluation of herbal and synthetic compounds for managing chronic diseases like diabetes and chronic kidney disease. A significant focus is on comparative analyses of different treatment modalities for musculoskeletal and renal conditions, the research also extends to the development of novel antimicrobial agents, specifically silver nanoparticles, and public health topics such as vaccine hesitancy. I have interest in the application of Artificial Intelligence predictive algorithms on reducing the number of trials and recommendation systems for suggesting drug formulation.
