Biography: Dr. Suneel Kumar Parathareddy graduated with an M.B.B.S. degree from India in 2004 and moved to the US in 2007 to pursue higher education. He graduated with an MS in Community Health from MNSU, Mankato, in 2010, completed residency in Family Medicine from Northwell Health in 2015, and earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration in 2022 and is currently working as Medical Director for Hospital Medicine at Atrium Health Wake Forest Health since 2020. My passion for rural health inspired me to work as Medical Director for two rural counties in Iowa from 2015 to 2020 prior to moving to NC. He did receive his CPE (Certified Physician Leadership) certification through AAPL (American Academy of Physician Leadership) in 2020.
He is an experienced physician leader and an experienced hospitalist, with a primary focus on patient safety, quality improvement, and improving patient satisfaction (HCAHPS), teaching value-based reimbursement strategies to faculty, medical students, and graduate medical education.
